The project concerns the historical center of Peschiera del Garda. Two relevant issues of the redevelopment are: a new lecture of the asset of the square and its changes during the history and the restore and the enhance of the architectonic heritage of the area. Particularly the square, which is now a sole parking lot, is re-designed without losing the organic features of a city center and its relevant buildings. Another significant theme of the project is the water: the project will be enriched by elements that remind the old docks.

Respecting the brief's request the main topics are:

• to make Piazza d'Armi the new center of gravity of the city and start an entire development of the area;
• to create a main pedestrian zone with a promenade, an area for relax and meetings, where to perform public events;
• to implement parking lots for residents, for visitors of churches and hotels;
• to give a new churchyard to S.Martino Church;
• replace the asphalt of the streets' pavement with the same type of stones present in the square;
• to insert a symbolic remind of the ancient docks with a new small water canal which leads to the main canal;
